Job Description
Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals team, working on designing and delivering mining projects globally for over 60 years. The role will involve technical engineering design, preparing and reviewing technical specifications, and ensuring designs support construction and maintenance.
Requirements
- Authorized to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering in the mining and minerals sector
- Strong knowledge of mining and minerals engineering principles, practices, and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
