Job Description
Maintenance Manager at CertainTeed Insulation manufacturing plant in Athens, GA. Designs and implements solutions to support safety, quality, and production goals. Leads team of skilled engineers, mechanics, and electricians to achieve world-class performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or automation preferred)
- 10 years of work experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience leading maintenance team in repairs and downtime reduction
- Previous supervisory experience in a Union environment
- Experience managing a large Maintenance department with Supervisors, Engineers, and 30+ maintenance technicians
- Ability to lead by example, coach, train, and develop individual contributors
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to translate technical data and reports into proposals and action plans
- Active listening skills with the ability to discern key points from technical materials
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on task prioritization and allocation of resources
- Above average communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent MS Office proficiency combined with solid analytical skills and SAP experience
