Staff Software Engineer

Workato is seeking a product-minded Staff Software Engineer to join our San Francisco team focused on building the next generation of developer products, specifically creating tools and platforms for developers who are building LLM and Agentic applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of experience of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality products.
• Experience building developer-facing products, APIs, SDKs, or CLIs.
• Proficient in one or more modern programming languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript and hands-on experience with LLM models.
• Solid understanding of API design, developer tooling, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
