
Job description
Workwear Outfitters is a leading supplier of work apparel and footwear, and we're looking for a Patternmaker to develop and maintain patterns for our products. This role involves transforming merchandising ideas into working patterns that achieve the desired fit and appearance at the minimum cost in materials and labor.
As a Patternmaker, you will be responsible for developing cost-effective patterns, monitoring the prototype process, and maintaining productive communication with internal departments and outside contractors. You will also interpret designer's intent, provide error-free production patterns, and analyze and drive pattern data transitions across the patterns team.
This role requires 3+ years of related professional experience, a Bachelor's degree, and excellent communication skills. You should have experience in pattern design and grading, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle issues cross-functionally.
