Join World Market as a Visual Merchandise Planner: AutoCAD Special Projects and design retail store floorplans that drive business goals and enhance the customer experience. The role combines creative thinking with strong spatial planning to translate concepts into clear, effective in-store layouts. As a hybrid role, you'll work in Alameda, CA, with in-office presence as required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment preferred
- AutoCAD LT 2026 proficiency or working knowledge required
- Strong spatial visualization and 3D thinking skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Relex Space Planning is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
