Requirements
- Typically, have more than 3 years of relevant experience in the field and a basic understanding and knowledge of some regulations, codes, design and manufacturing standards, and industry practices.
- Experience in performing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering of projects from the industry (Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, etc.).
- Ability to provide recommendations that are limited to the solution of problems rather than the final result.
- Perform their functions under technical and general guidance on a weekly basis with the supervisor, allowing for planning and organization of tasks on assigned projects.
- Work in teams of up to 2 people that report directly to them, and which may be composed of engineers and designers from the same discipline, but they have no authority to evaluate the performance of other professionals that affect their salary.
- Maintain constant and effective communication with the work team to inform and persuade on complex matters and problems through the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and discipline management.
- Be competent in the use of tools such as Microsoft 365 and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Work efficiently and competently in specialized design, analysis, and modeling tools, and interdisciplinary data-driven methods, as required.
- Build appropriate, constructive, and effective relationships throughout the organization; use diplomacy and tact, be approachable, communicate clearly, precisely, and coherently both verbally and in writing.
- Work on a team with visibility for stakeholders at high levels, be able to work and link with multiple teams and stakeholders, be able to prioritize workloads and help other team members achieve their objectives.
