Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer is responsible for designing and ensuring human/machine interfaces and quality processes to maximize quality production at a reduced cost.

Requirements

• Ability to apply problem solving methods and tools to resolve complex issues
• Works with suppliers to improve products through material or process changes
• Engage in customer PPAP’s and requirements
• Determines root cause and implements corrective action to improve internal and external processes
• Performs customer visits and supplier audits to drive improvements
• Partner with customers and suppliers to improve products through material or process changes
• Assist with completion of PFMEA on existing new products with engineering team
• Development and completion of Control Plans for existing or new products with assistance of engineering team
