Principal Electrical Engineer (Energy)

We are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Transition team. The role involves leading and developing cost-effective, efficient, and innovative solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant Engineering subject and significant post-graduate experience in electrical design and operation.

Requirements

• Degree or similar qualification in relevant Engineering subject
• Significant post-graduate experience in electrical design and operation
• Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of relevant Engineering Institute
• Ability to assume a lead role in the development of Electrical deliverables and or the assessment of assets under construction or in operation
• Knowledge of design construction and operation of power and energy projects
• Proven understanding of either the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts as well as experienced in producing calculations and or the commissioning, operation, maintenance and testing of medium and high voltage equipment and systems
