This is an opportunity to be involved in projects with WSP's Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. The Engineer will provide technical assistance for the development of environmental due diligence, environmental site assessment and/or monitoring, and environmental remediation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in environmental engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in the evaluation and design of modified active gas sampling and soil vapor extraction systems, including pre-design field surveys, and implementation oversight.
- Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, results orientated attitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Project management experience and capability to successfully execute project work within budget and schedule for small to medium sized projects (typically <$200K).
- Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies, including site specific Health and Safety Plans
