WSP is seeking a Senior Rail Signaling Engineer to lead complex Northeast Corridor railroad projects. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams and apply Systems Engineering concepts and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and sound engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
- More than ten years of post-education experience in planning, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, cutover, project management, and construction management for signaling and PTC systems for Amtrak or other Northeast Corridor railroads
- Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced written communication skills
- Highly effective interpersonal communication skills
- Highly proficient in systems engineering principles, practices, and processes
- Experienced in providing critical review of documents and preparing technical deliverables and plans with a high degree of complexity
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Immediate availability to work in the US
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
