Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Extensive Design-Build project delivery experience on transit projects as a Program Manager
- 20+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of international experience in the delivery of CBTC projects
- Proven experience in the delivery of public rail transportation infrastructure projects, with construction costs in excess of $1 billion
- Familiarity with WMATA or similar agency policies and procedures
- Proven experience in successfully managing the delivery of a major transit program consisting of multiple connected projects through design and construction
- Advanced SME-level proficiency with transit and rail engineering principles, practices, process, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues
- Membership in national academies, professional societies or associations with significant accomplishment requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to engage at an executive level and examples of at least one article in a magazine or trade journal on the subject of train control
- Excellent computer skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Ability to work in the US
- Required to be in the work location 5 days per week
