WSP is seeking a Substation Field Engineer to provide technical support to projects in the power delivery, power generation, and program management fields. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience in an electrical engineering capacity
- Basic exposure to engineering operations and project controls concepts
- Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design/build concepts
- Familiarity with infrastructure planning, design, rehabilitation, and construction support for new and existing facilities
- Working knowledge of applicable engineering and electrical construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to follow engineering processes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage assignments with attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and prioritization
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a project team
