Controls Engineer

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team in Fredericksburg, VA. The role involves designing and implementing control systems, leading project teams, and working with clients across multiple industries.

Requirements

• Designs, develops, and implements control system (logic software and hardware) to meet process system requirements
• Develops schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software
• Develops the final record system documentation and provides system training to the customer
• Acts as technical lead on projects and guides lower level engineers and technicians
• Acts as Project Manager on smaller projects ranging from $50K to $250K
