Mechanical Commissioning Lead

xAI is seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Lead to lead the buildout, startup, and handover of mechanical systems for xAI's high-performance data centers. The role requires hands-on leadership and technical expertise in mechanical commissioning, cooling systems, and commissioning test equipment. The position involves extensive travel to xAI data center construction sites across the United States.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive hands-on mechanical commissioning experience
• Deep expertise in data center cooling systems
• Strong working knowledge of commissioning test equipment
• Thorough familiarity with relevant codes and standards
• Proven ability to read, interpret, and redline mechanical drawings
• Demonstrated leadership experience coordinating multi-discipline teams
• Current OSHA 30 certification and strong safety leadership track record
