Technical Team Lead, Contract

Xcelirate is seeking a Technical Team Lead for a contract position. The ideal candidate is a principal-level engineer with 15+ years of experience in building and maintaining complex web applications. Responsibilities include managing time and priorities, owning complex engineering problems, and building new features. The role requires expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and Linux, as well as experience with cloud deployment, infrastructure automation, and web security.

• 15+ years hands-on experience building and maintaining complex web applications
• Clear technical communication
• Expert PHP developer (12+ years)
• 10+ years modern JavaScript
• Expert level knowledge in at least one more programming language
• Full-stack architecture expertise
• Power user cloud deployment and scaling experience
• Expert Linux user
• Expert in infrastructure automation
• Power user level CI/CD pipeline and release workflow ownership
• Experience in automated testing
• Expert level knowledge in and around web security fundamentals
