
Job description
Xylem seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to create automation for multiple development teams, assist with deployment of infrastructure to public cloud environments, and develop pipelines for the deployment of applications. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, fluid environment, supporting multiple teams while ensuring initiatives are met.
Create Infrastructure as Code scripts to deploy environments in AWS, create and utilize pipelines to deploy software applications across multiple environments, provide guidance to peer teams on best practices, and work closely with security operations to maintain proper security posture.
The successful candidate will have experience with Terraform, AWS, Azure, continuous integration / continuous delivery tools, Git, and Linux environments. They will also have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
