Strategic Commodity Manager - Mechanical Components

Yaskawa America, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Commodity Manager to plan and execute strategy for key commodities, promote supplier collaboration, and engage with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including negotiations, supplier contracts, and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Administration
• MBA or Master's of Engineering degree (preferred)
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience
• Experience in sourcing sheet metal fabrications and precision machining
• Experience in sourcing plastic components (preferred)
• Experience in directly sourcing raw materials (preferred)
• Expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies and tools
• Highly analytical, with strong leadership skills and creative problem solving abilities
