Senior Systems Engineer

Yext is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain infrastructure systems for their core SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in backend, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles in large-scale environments, with expertise in cloud providers, containerization, and orchestration technologies.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure systems for core SaaS platform
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Engineering, SRE, and Security teams
• Evaluate existing systems and implement architectural improvements
• Build and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools
• Support and evolve containerized platforms and orchestration systems
• Contribute to observability and operational excellence through monitoring, logging, alerting, and instrumentation improvements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation and help maintain production systems
