Requirements

• YMCA Swim Instructor certification, or equivalent
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and AED
• Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards
• Must meet all Association-Wide training requirements
• Must be able to pass a Nationwide Criminal and Sex Offender Registry Background Screening
• Must ensure the physical and social environments for program delivery reflect the Y’s definition of character and values
