The Swim Lesson Instructor at Oneida YMCA plays a crucial role in providing support, direction, and instruction to students in swim classes. Requirements
- YMCA Swim Instructor certification, or equivalent
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and AED
- Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards
- Must meet all Association-Wide training requirements
- Must be able to pass a Nationwide Criminal and Sex Offender Registry Background Screening
- Must ensure the physical and social environments for program delivery reflect the Y’s definition of character and values
