Job Description
Huber Heights, Ohio is seeking a part-time Childcare Activity Leader to assist with all aspects of classroom activities. The role focuses on the children's development, safety, and well-being, requiring a proactive and compassionate individual. YMCA values inclusivity, offering a supportive environment for everyone. The position is offered part-time with a non-exempt schedule.
Requirements
- Plans, develops, and implements lesson plans.
- Ensures the children's social, physical, spiritual, and mental development.
- Maintains quality of supplies and equipment.
- Reports any safety issues and follows Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) guidelines.
- Proficient in child abuse and neglect laws and reporting procedures.
- Handle discipline appropriately and document incidents.
- Fills in classrooms and drives vehicle.
- Attends staff meetings and trainings.
