Youth Sports Official

Youth Sports Official is responsible for officiating youth and adult programs at the YMCA, ensuring safety and adherence to sports and YMCA rules.

Requirements

• Monitor play to ensure safety and enforce sports and YMCA rules
• Set up and tear down equipment before and after games
• Communicate and enforce rules effectively during games
• Maintain cleanliness of the gym area
• Build relationships with members and program participants
• Ensure safety by communicating and enforcing rules and guidelines
• Follow all sports program rules, policies, and guidelines
• Track and post league standings
• Post schedules and events promptly
• Communicate sports program information to staff in an accurate and timely manner
