Job Description
The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead group exercise classes. Instructors are responsible for preparing participants, teaching classes, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will be certified in CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid, have strong communication skills, and be motivated to lead and support members and community initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be certified CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 12 months or 75 hours of practical experience of group exercise class experience/personal training (if applicable).
- Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles and YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise or National Certification/YMCA Strength and Conditioning.
