Job Description
The YMCA is seeking sports officials and gym monitors to support seasonal sports programs, promoting player development and maintaining facility standards. This part-time role involves officiating games, monitoring equipment, addressing concerns, and ensuring a safe environment for participants. The position requires a commitment to YMCA principles and a positive attitude towards both players and staff.
Requirements
- CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certification (renewed annually)
- Officials training completion
- Working knowledge of the sport, understanding of Y mission, and ability to understand Y Core Values
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and lift up to 75 lbs
