Job Description
The YMCA Youth Sports Official is responsible for officiating youth sports games and ensuring they are conducted in a safe, fair, and fun manner. This role includes enforcing the rules of the game, maintaining order on the field or court, and promoting good sportsmanship among participants.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a sports official or referee is preferred.
- Knowledge of the specific sport being officiated is essential.
- Certification in officiating (if applicable for the specific sport).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
