Job Description
The Bus Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for program participants, transporting children and staff to schools, field trips, and other locations as approved by the Director.
Requirements
- Valid and active driver's license (Commercial Driver’s License required)
- 2+ years of experience transporting children (highly desirable)
- Ability to meet federal/state/company driving standards (may include license verification, drug testing and driver's test)
- Must meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Redwoods Child Sexual Abuse Prevention training
- Redwoods Blood Borne Pathogens training
- Staff Safety Requirements/Cleaning Protocols
Benefits
- 18.00 per hour without School Bus Endorsement
- 25.00 per hour with School Bus Endorsement
