Job Description
The position is for a Lifeguard at the YMCA of Greater Rochester, serving as the guardian of pool safety. This role involves upholding rules, enforcing regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring member safety. Lifeguards will also attend staff meetings and adhere to emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
- Must have current YMCA Lifeguarding or Red Cross Lifeguarding and obtain YMCA Lifeguarding certification within 60 days of hire.
- Must have CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification, AED, and Oxygen Administration.
- Must have Basic First Aid certification.
