Job Description
The Aquatic Exercise Instructor will contribute to the vision, mission, and values of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation by instructing aquatic exercise classes for the overall health & well-being of JCC members. They will be responsible for creating inclusive class experiences and ensuring a safe and productive environment for students.
Requirements
- One or more years teaching experience
- Certified by AEA, YMCA, or similar certifications
- Current CPR/First-Aid certifications on file
- Knowledge of both shallow and deep water instruction
- Clock in and out within seven minutes of the hour
- Accurately record class participation in Club Automation
- Maintain and sanitize equipment and stereo equipment
- Identify and demonstrate appropriate behaviors for the aquatic department
- Complete all additional duties as assigned
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
