Job Description
The Swim Instructor will contribute to the vision, mission, and values of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation by instructing swim lessons for the overall health & health & well-being of JCC members. They will teach swim lessons, including competitive strokes, safety, diving, and other swim-related topics, for various age groups and abilities. The position requires punctual attendance, accurate record keeping, and a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- One or more years teaching experience
- Current CPR/First-Aid certification (American Red Cross, YMCA, or similar)
- Current swimming proficiency
- Comfort teaching a variety of ages and abilities
- Clock in and out within 7 minutes of the hour
- Record class participation
- Equipment upkeep
