The Family Preservation Specialist is responsible for providing intensive, in-home crisis intervention, counseling, and skill-building for families with children at imminent risk of placement or in placement and in need of intensive services to support reunification using the New Jersey Family Preservation Services (FPS) Program Model.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences or have graduated from a fully accredited college or university
- At least one and half years of experience in providing services to families in crisis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using an electronic health record system (EHR) is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
