Quality Mechanical Inspector I

This Quality Mechanical Inspector I role is responsible for inspecting craft work and equipment for adherence to specifications, codes, and manufacturer's requirements, ensuring equipment and components meet construction project needs. The inspector will read engineering drawings, interpret guidelines, and document findings. They need to be proficient in reading documents, blueprints, codes, and specifications.

Requirements

• Read and understand the owner’s specifications, governing codes, and drawings.
• Perform pre-installation inspections including receipt, installation, and bolting.
• Inspect item parts and materials for adherence to specifications, codes, and standards.
• Verify requirements through review of material certifications.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming items.
