Application Specialist for an Electron Microscope-based Wafer Inspection Tool

Role Overview

You will be part of the development of a high-tech electron microscope for the metrology of semiconductor components. You will integrate newly developed modules into the overall system and put them into operation.

What You Will Do

You will support the development and implementation of test scenarios for modules and systems, troubleshoot on system and module level, and support series introduction at first installations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will take responsibility for individual modules, develop module and system improvements, and implement them together with other functions. You will ensure the analysis of test results and create test reports.

Requirements

• Master's degree in physics, mechatronics, automation technology, electrical engineering, or comparable
• Practical experience in electron microscopy, preferably in a laboratory/clean room environment
• Knowledge of fault analysis on electron microscopes and their elimination in the semiconductor field
• Experience and knowledge in Focused Ion Beam, Gas Injection Systems, testing of complex systems, and automation tools
• Good knowledge of data acquisition and evaluation
• Analytical thinking, hands-on mentality, and problem-solving competence
• High communication and team skills
• Proactive working style and high commitment
• Very good German and English skills
