Quality Technician

Role Overview

As a Quality Technician at Wheatland Tube, you will play a key role in ensuring product compliance through inspections, testing, and process monitoring. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices, calibrate test equipment, assist with calibrating pH and conductivity meters, perform random quality audits, and identify and record non-conforming products.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma preferred; some college coursework preferred
• Working knowledge of quality standards and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills for calibration, measurement, and documentation
• Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and gauges
• Familiarity with hand tools, bandsaws, cutoff saws, and hydraulic presses
