Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Shift Maintenance Technician to join our engineering and maintenance team at our Croydon manufacturing site. In this hands-on role, you’ll support the maintenance and reliability of industrial plant equipment including steam boilers, thermal oil heaters, compressors, extrusion lines, and automated systems.

What You Will Do

Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance (PPM and breakdowns) on a wide range of manufacturing equipment. Conduct routine inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and automated systems.

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
• Experience working with automated systems, PLCs or SCADA controls
• Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skills
• Familiarity with planned maintenance systems (CMMS) and engineering reporting
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a process or production environment
