Material Handler

Role Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for providing material movement & recordation, handling, movement and storage of raw, intermediate and finished goods, and transaction recording of movement into an ERP system. The role requires working under supervision and performing a range of diverse duties.

What You Will Do

Assist in staging finished material, coordinate with quality and inventory coordinator, maintain active knowledge of current production plans and schedules, pull material for operations, and perform cycle counting and inventory spot checking.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in a manufacturing environment, inventory control and/or management, and basic computer skills. They will also have excellent communication skills, proven organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Demonstrated skills in manufacturing environment highly desirable
• Inventory control and/or management
• Certification in forklift operation
