Staff Software Development Engineer - DevOps

Zscaler is a leading cybersecurity company seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - DevOps to join their Engineering department in Bangalore. As a hybrid role, this position will be responsible for managing development and infrastructure demands, deploying systems, and supporting peer developers. The ideal candidate will have experience with public cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps philosophy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with an Engineering or Computer Science degree
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Automation and orchestration experience using Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, etc.
• Skilled in managing Kubernetes clusters and proficient with CI/CD tools like Bamboo and Jenkins
• Proficient in Databases and SQL (preferably Postgres) with experience in cloud architecture components
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring technologies like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
