Care Coordinator Float (Medical Assistant)

We are seeking a Care Coordinator Float to perform various clerical and customer service functions for the physician's office. The successful candidate will be part of our World-Class team, dedicated to enhancing the lives of our patients and team members.

Requirements

• Registers new patients in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensures all initial consultations, pertinent notes, lab slips, radiology and pathology reports are available to the physician
• Greet and room patients, takes vitals and records assessment in the patient chart
• Communicates with physician's staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows all HIPAA guidelines
