Job description
Join our research team as a quantitative scientist to build risk prediction models from 23andMe's large-scale genetic and phenotypic datasets. Collaborate with clinical and genetic scientists to develop clinically useful risk prediction models. Leverage expertise in statistical modeling of human genetics data to advance biomedical research and transform healthcare.
Develop clinical risk prediction models by integrating genomic data with high-dimensional phenotypic profiles. Work with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to deploy risk models in clinical and direct-to-consumer settings. Use non-23andMe datasets to validate model performance and develop materials to demonstrate the utility of integrating genetics into clinical risk prediction.
PhD or MD/PhD in Statistics, Statistical Genetics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Strong expertise in statistical genetics, machine learning, and data analysis. Experience with Python, PyTorch, and NumPyro. Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
