Paralegal primarily focuses on preparing standard legal documents, assisting with discovery responses, and supporting attorneys with administrative and procedural tasks. Experience in collections, creditors’ rights, or other legal work is a plus.
Requirements
- Experience in collections, creditors’ rights, or other legal work is a plus
- ABA-approved paralegal certification or associate degree in paralegal studies is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with WordPerfect is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Reliable, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with statues, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and agency rules is helpful but not required
