This Privacy Policy describes how Flok LLC, which operates Hirebase ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use our website www.hirebase.org, our web app, our API and our other services (together, the "Service"). Flok LLC is the controller of the personal information described here.

Professional Contact Data

Our Hiring Manager feature helps businesses find the right person to contact about a job opening. To provide it, we process information about professionals who did not sign up for Hirebase, such as hiring managers and recruiters:

• What we process: name, job title, employer, work email address, phone number, and links to public professional profiles.
• Where it comes from: publicly available professional information, such as job postings, company websites and public professional profiles, and licensed third-party data providers.
• Why: to let our business customers contact professionals about matters relevant to their role, such as recruiting, partnerships or sales. We rely on legitimate interests (ours and our customers') and do not process sensitive categories of data.
• Who receives it: business customers who request it through the Service. Our Terms of Service require them to have a lawful basis for any use, to comply with data protection and marketing laws, to honour opt-outs, and not to use it for spam or harassment.
• How to opt out: email [email protected] with the subject "Remove my data". We will stop providing your information to customers and tell customers who received it to delete it.

Legal Bases for Processing

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we process personal information on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (for example, to run your account); our legitimate interests (for example, to secure and improve the Service and to provide professional contact data, as described above); your consent (for example, for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and to comply with legal obligations.
