Job Description
The CT Technician performs professional duties in the CAT Scan department as assigned, including performing CT procedures and technical procedures, applying radiation for radiologic diagnosis, and sterilizing radiologic equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma, Bachelors or associate's degree in radiologic technology
- State license to work as a CT technologist
- Proven experience working as a CT technologist
- CPR and BLS certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
