Data Governance and Metadata Scientist

As a data scientist, you'll unlock secrets held by data sets and work with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems, and provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

Requirements

• Experience implementing metadata governance frameworks for structured and unstructured data in cloud-based environments
• Experience with tracking data lineage and ensuring metadata synchronization across a Data Catalog, ESRI Kubernetes, and enterprise metadata repositories
• Experience with utilizing OpenLineage, Apache Atlas, or tools for metadata and data lineage management
• Experience in enforcing compliance with DoD metadata policies and NSG tradecraft standards for geospatial datasets
