Assistant Manager- Procurement

APM Terminals is seeking an Assistant Manager – Procurement to join their team at Gateway Terminals India in Mumbai. The successful candidate will own and manage a large and diverse spend portfolio, drive operational reliability, cost efficiency, and supplier performance, and collaborate with global category managers and procurement teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project management
• Strong understanding of purchasing and contracting processes (domestic and import)
• Proven experience in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and inventory management
• Good knowledge of EXIM processes and INCOTERMS
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and BI tools
• Strong negotiation, contracting, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Ability to work across cultures and geographies within a matrix organisation
