Responsible for planning and procuring material requirements to drive lowest possible overall cost, drive year over year productivity savings, and inventory reduction commitments for assigned parts/vendors.
Identifies, evaluates, and selects suppliers for goods and services, prepares and executes purchase orders, and develops relationships with suppliers.
Requires strong decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, as well as ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
