Data Analyst (MS Power BI/AWS Glue)

Role Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Data Analyst to provide analytics and dashboard development support for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) in Quantico.

What You Will Do

Assist with customer requirements for IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI data modules, reports, and dashboards. Assist with IBM Cognos security and administration functions. Design, develop and maintain various interactive reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be certified at IAT Level II, have strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships, and experience building data models and developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience using Microsoft Power BI
• 2+ years experience using IBM Cognos Analytics and Administration
• 2+ years experience using AWS Glue
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Certified at IAT Level II
• Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships
• Knowledge of Oracle databases
• Experience building data models and developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with a trouble ticket system such as Remedy or ServiceNow
• Experience applying STIGs
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos
• Experience in a DoD or law enforcement environment
• US citizenship
• Current Top Secret clearance
