Material Master Specialist

Role Overview

This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division. Material Master Specialist ensures material data integrity across planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, quality and finance to support efficient supply chain and business operations.

What You Will Do

Creation, accuracy, governance, and ongoing maintenance of material master data within the SAP ERP system. Maintain group mailbox, prioritizing business critical items, processing requests within group service level agreement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 2-5+ years of experience in material master data, supply chain operations, or ERP data management
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) or similar ERP systems
• Experience supporting manufacturing or distribution environments
• Strong knowledge of SAP Material Master views
• Understanding of MRP, BOMs, routings, and inventory processes
• Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data analysis)
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
