Job Description
Our client is a leading Commercial & Chancery Chambers seeking a Junior Clerk to assist in the efficient running of Chambers. The role involves assisting the Practice Managers in the delivery of a high-quality service to members of Chambers and their clients.
Requirements
- Check the daily diary and assist barristers attending court/conferences
- Prepare bundles for barristers by photocopying or printing and sourcing authorities, books, and statutes
- Ensure papers put out by barristers are cleared from corridors and returned to solicitors promptly and logged in LEX
- Perform administrative tasks including distribution of post and DX, preparing outgoing post and DX, and monitoring stationary
- Assist Senior Clerk as directed
- Assist colleagues and barristers with general tasks as required
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of Chambers as directed
- Assist with preparation and administration of Chambers events
