You'll help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure, working alongside people who think big and act bold. You'll provide technical and administrative management services for the project, coordinate and oversee all activities related to the construction of the project, and maintain close liaison with the County's Project Manager.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience providing full in-charge technical, administrative, and field management for heavy civil and/or landfill construction projects
- Knowledge of reviewing and monitoring the contractor's schedule through weekly meetings, compiling daily inspection records, and preparing weekly status reports and correspondence related to project activities
- Relevant experience identifying actual and potential problems associated with the construction project and consulting with the design engineer and County's Project Manager to implement engineering solutions
- Relevant experience conferring with and advising the County's Project Manager regarding the status of significant items and verifying that appropriate notifications and/or coordination for specific events have taken place
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements and monitoring applicable contract provisions for the protection of the public and project personnel
- Relevant experience coordinating submittal reviews with the design engineer
- Relevant experience preparing progress payments to the contractor, for County's approval
- Knowledge of reviewing the contractor's as-built drawing markups prior to submission to the County and maintaining a set of red-line drawings
