Job Description
ActioNet is seeking a Network Operations Engineer (Tier III) to join their team in Vienna, VA. The position requires up to 10% travel and is a Mission Essential designated position per DFARS 252.237-7023.
Requirements
- Multi-disciplined senior network engineer with experience maintaining and fixing wired, wireless, and mobile broadband solutions
- Provides touch labor for all network devices
- Oversees monitoring of network assets per SLAs
- Deals with more complex network issues, requiring a deeper understanding of the support IT infrastructure
- Trains junior NOC technicians via knowledge transfer and creation of knowledge articles
- Installs and supports remote access platforms such as VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Has a fundamental understanding of network engineering concepts and adapts to emerging technologies as they are introduced to the environment
- Troubleshoots complex problems to closure
