Senior Software Engineer

Activated Insights is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead engineering efforts and improve employee and customer engagement in a high growth SaaS company. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Proven expertise in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript with frameworks such as Laravel
• Deep experience with cloud-architecture, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP integrations, and scalable cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of secure authentication and authorization standards such as OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML
• Proven track record delivering cloud-native applications at scale in Agile environments
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Self-motivated, passionate about software development, and comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
• Strong proficiency in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries
