We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small cross-functional engineering team focused on evolving, onboarding and integrating Ada’s solutions into customers’ systems. This is a remote position based in Canada.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in full-stack development.
- 1-2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity (e.g., Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Engineering Manager).
- Proven track record of balancing hands-on coding with coordination or leadership duties.
- Experience working with external client integrations, APIs, or SDKs in a SaaS environment.
- Experience working with distributed/remote teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of software architecture, REST APIs, and modern cloud infrastructure.
- AI-Augmented Development: Familiarity with AI-assisted/agentic coding workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
- People First: A genuine interest in coaching and mentoring engineers to help them improve their craft.
- Customer Focus: Understanding of the constraints and requirements of enterprise clients (Security, SLAs, Compliance).
- Communication: Ability to translate technical complexity into clear updates for stakeholders and non-technical partners.
- Operational Excellence: Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and managing production environments.
